Services offered at Scion Psychiatric include initial assessment and recommendations for treatment interventions that may include:

Due to the complexity of some psychiatric conditions recommendations for more intense or acute interventions may be made and resources supporting families in Westmoreland and surrounding counties can be discussed as not all conditions can be adequately supported with just outpatient treatment alone.
Child psychiatry is a dynamic and challenging field that requires investment from all parties involved. Through evidence based treatment approaches our goal is to provide both patients and their families with the tools and opportunity to regain stability in the home, school and community environments. Our philosophy is rooted in honesty, transparency and investment in care as many mental health conditions that start in childhood or adolescence require potentially lifelong care.
